Supplier Statuses Explained

SpecNexa uses specific, factual status labels instead of one broad “verified” badge. Each label states exactly what has been done — never more verification than actually completed.

Status labelWhat it means
Business Information SubmittedThe supplier has submitted its business information to SpecNexa.
Registration Details CheckedAvailable company registration details were reviewed. This does not represent a product-quality or facility audit.
Manufacturer-DeclaredThe supplier states that it manufactures the listed ingredient. SpecNexa has not independently audited the facility.
Trading Company-DeclaredThe supplier states that it acts as a trader or distributor.
Documents on FileSpecNexa has received documents from the supplier. This does not mean every document has been independently authenticated.
Certificate Copy on FileA certificate copy has been provided by the supplier.
Sample AvailableThe supplier states that a product sample may be requested.
Third-Party Test Report AvailableThe supplier has provided a report issued by a third-party laboratory.
Independently TestedUsed only when SpecNexa or an authorised partner has arranged and confirmed testing for the specified sample or batch.
Facility AuditedUsed only when there is a documented audit by a clearly identified party.

Regulatory status has not been assessed by SpecNexa. The availability of a listing does not mean the ingredient is permitted for import, sale, or use in any particular country or application. Buyers must confirm applicable requirements with their importer, regulatory adviser, and relevant authority.
