1. What SpecNexa is
SpecNexa is a business-to-business ingredient discovery and sourcing platform. It helps manufacturers discover ingredient sourcing options, review supplier-submitted specifications and documents, submit requests for quotation (RFQs), and connect with potential ingredient suppliers. SpecNexa is not a testing laboratory, certification body, regulatory authority, importer of record, or guarantor of supplier quality, and it is not a party to any contract concluded between a buyer and a supplier.
2. Information on the platform
Product, supplier, certification, and specification information shown on SpecNexa is supplied by the relevant listing provider unless expressly stated otherwise. SpecNexa does not currently conduct facility audits, independently authenticate every document, test every product or batch, certify suppliers, or determine suitability for a particular country, application, or finished product. Status labels state exactly what has been done; their meanings are published at Supplier Statuses Explained.
3. Buyer responsibilities
Buyers must conduct appropriate commercial, technical, regulatory, and quality due diligence before purchasing or using any ingredient, and must confirm the final agreed specification, price, and terms directly with the contracting supplier.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to submit false or misleading information, misrepresent your identity or role, scrape or republish platform content at scale without permission, or use the platform to send unsolicited marketing. SpecNexa may suspend listings or access for breach of these terms.
5. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SpecNexa is not liable for losses arising from transactions between buyers and suppliers, from reliance on supplier-submitted information, or from the availability of the platform. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
6. Changes
These terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the platform after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
