SpecNexa uses transparency labels that state exactly what has been checked for a listing — never more. Labels describe the state of information on file; they are not endorsements, certifications, or guarantees of quality, safety, or regulatory status.
What the labels mean #
- Manufacturer-Declared: the listing provider presents itself as the manufacturer of the ingredient. This reflects the provider’s own declaration and has not been independently audited by SpecNexa.
- Trading Company-Declared: the listing provider presents itself as a trading company or distributor rather than the manufacturer.
- Registration Details Checked: basic business-registration details supplied by the provider have been reviewed for internal consistency. This is not a legal, financial, or facility verification.
- Documents on File / Certificate Copy on File: the provider has supplied document copies (for example a specification sheet or a certificate copy). SpecNexa stores these as supplied and does not independently authenticate every document.
- Third-Party Test Report Available: a third-party test report has been supplied for review on request. Availability of a report is not itself a pass/fail determination by SpecNexa.
- Sample Available: the provider indicates a sample can be requested.
Buyers should always confirm the final agreed specification and supporting documentation directly with the contracting supplier and conduct their own due diligence.
